Description about Delhi (NCR) :-
In 1911 then emperor of India has announced Delhi is the capital of India on 12th December during a conference meeting. He laid the foundation stone of the city at that time. Then the inauguration of Delhi happened on 13th February 1931.

Delhi NCR Past, present, and future
In the year 1985 National Capital Region and the NCR board was established. The purpose is to develop the region, infrastructure, transport facilities, water facility, etc. And also the board issued policies to control the usage of land. The NCR is the central planning region that comprises of Delhi, Gurgaon, Noida, Faridabad, and Ghaziabad. This means that the national capital region is comprised of both rural and urban regions.
The NCR region also contains the Aravalli ridge, forests and bird sanctuary. These became the important touring spots in Delhi. The main goal for comprising Delhi is that decrease the population and to promote the large scale industries. Therefore the districts from the neighboring states are included into the NCR region.
The NCR region is the metropolitan region where international IT companies, BPOs, MNC companies, small scale industries, and large scale industries came into place at present. This gave jobs to the graduates and eradicated the unemployment in Delhi. The total area of the National Capital Region is 54.984 square km. The total population in NCR is 46,069,000 as per 2011 census.
As per the 2016 census report, the population of NCR is 25.7 to 26.5 million. The air pollution is high in Delhi because of population increase. The board of NCR has planned to improve transport in Delhi, electricity, sewage connectivity, telecommunication, power, water supply, health, environment, education, and housing. About 46% of homes in NCR did not have the proper sewage facility.
In the future NCR, the board has planned to improve the basic needs of the people like water, electricity, telecommunication, road facilities, flyovers and other essential things. It also included additional features like social infrastructure, rural development, heritage, tourism and disaster management.
History of Transport in Delhi NCR:-
RRTS was established in the year 1998-99 to improve the railway facilities in the NCR region. This helped the office goers and other day to day passengers to travel easily across the region. In the year 2006, the railway project was modified to the advanced technology and so they introduced the metro rail project. This metro project is the advanced project that upgraded the railway system of NCR to the next level. This helped people to travel fast and reach the destination within a few hours and also cost-effective.
In the year of 2005, the planning commission has been formed under the chairmanship of Secretary and the Ministry of Urban Development. They have decided to implement the various modes of transport in Delhi. The task force has the 8 corridors to implement the transport in Delhi region.
As the initial step, the planning commission has decided to implement only 3 corridors. They are Delhi to Meerut, Delhi to Panipat and Delhi to Alwar. The estimated cost of the project is about 1,00,000 crores.
In the year of 2013 National Capital Region Transport Corporations (NCRTC) was established by the government of India. This joint venture company implemented the Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS) across the NCR region. With the initial 100 crores of a fund, NCRTC is allowed to develop and maintain the RRTS in NCR to provide fast and effective transport in Delhi.
As per the census of 2014, there are 11.2 millions of registered vehicles in NCR region. This is vehicle users population is very much high compared to other cities in India and also among the world. This vast increase in vehicle usage because of population caused air pollution in the city.
So the Delhi government is taking necessary steps to control the population rate. The transport in Delhi includes bus, airplane, marine, railway, auto-rickshaws, cycle-rickshaws, e-rickshaws and taxis. The State Government also provides a transport job in Delhi NCR for the graduates with a respective stream of preference.
Geographical Location of Delhi (NCR):-
Delhi is located in the North side of India at 22.38 degree north and 77.13 degrees east surrounded by the states of Haryana, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh. The Gangetic plains, the Yamuna flood plains and the Delhi ridge are the three parts of the metropolitan city. The food plain is suitable for rice and other grains cultivation around the area. The lifeline express train service started its journey on 16th July 1991. The Lifeline Express CEO announced that they are going to add extra five coaches to the train with the already existing three coaches. This means that there are a total of 8 coaches. In these eight coaches, two operating theatres are available. The old one has only one operation theatre.
Railway condition Delhi NCR:-
Railways are one of the best transport services in NCR. The transport in Delhi earns more money per annum but fails to provide hygiene coaches on the train.
